Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
November 30th, 1936 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved a-s read: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call..
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Department $1,020.93; Perma-
nent Highway 153 5; Incinerator $126.00; Sewer Dept. $144.05; Garbage Disposal $429.
00; Cemetery 8113: 0; Sewage Disposal 4287.00: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark
voting aye on roll call.

The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Wash-
burn .and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the canvass of returns of the Special
Election, held December 5, 1936, by the County Election Board is hereby ratified and
confirmed as follows: The number of Votes cast at said Special Election was 5465, the
vote in favor of the City purchasing the Pacific Power and Light Company and referred
to as "The Proposition ", was 723,fagainst "The Proposition" 4724; the question of
Amendoment No. _1 to-Yakima City Charter was 4141 votes for said Amendment and 1141 votes
against said Amendment: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION I`IO.. C -223, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 14, Block 157, "The
Horne Addition to North Yakima ", (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof
now on file and of record-in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington.
WHEREAS, the City of -Yaki-ma, is the owner of. the following de-
scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lot 14, Block 157, "The Home Addition to
North Yakima" (now Yakima), according to
the official plat thereof now on file and
of record in the office of the Auditor of
Yakima County, Washington;
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City'of
Yakima to sell said premises to GEORGE HARTOON, an unmarried man,
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED- By_ THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY.OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to GEORGE HARTOON, an unmarried man, for the total sum of One Hundred
Thirty -four and 99/100 ($134.99) Dollars, and the.Ma.yor, H. C. Temple, is hereby author-
ized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby
authorized and directed to attest the same for an on behalf of the said City of Yakima.
