Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the.minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, September 28th, 1936 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO;.: B -158, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE authorizing the reconveyance of the fol- lowing described real estate, to -wit: Beginning at the intersedtion of the westerly right of way line of Union Pacific Railway Company with the south line of the v%,,outh half of the northwest quarter of Section 30, Township 13 North, Range 19, E. W. M.; thence northwesterly along said westerly right of way line to a point 50 feet north of the south line of said sub- division; thence west parallel with said south line 1156.15 feet to a.point which is 50 feet north and 711.5 feet east of the southwest corner of said subdivision; thence northwesterly along a circular curve, curving to the right with a radius of 666.2 feet to' the east line of 2nd Avenue South; thence south along said east line of Second Avenue South to the south .line of the south half of the north- west quarter of said section 30; thence east along said south line 1531.3 feet to the point of beginning. ALSO all that portion of Block 5, Broadway Park Additibri to­- Yakima, lying within a distance of 50 feet on either side of the following described center line: Beginning on the south line of the south half of the northwest quarter of Section 30, Township 13 North, Range 19, E. W. M., 711.5 feet east of the southwest corner thereof; thence northwesterly along a circular curve curving to the right with a radius of 716.2 feet to a point on the west line of said subdivision 711. 5 feet north of the southwest corner thereof. Situate in Yakima County, Washington, to First Security and Loan Company, a, corporation," was introduced by Washburn and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -158 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -158 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Temple, Washburn and CIM-k voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No B -158 be passed as finally read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Reso- lution No. C -209 for constructing a domestic water system on Broadway Avenue and there being no protests 'in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passed as finall read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -159, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property In the City of Yakima, Washington, by the completion of the necessary mains and the construction of the necessary fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances to supply various lots and tracts of land with water for domestic use; establishing a local im- provement district, providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk. Moved by.Washburn, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -159 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -159 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -159 be passed as finally read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting ayelon roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give notice to contractors by publication as provided by law for receiving bids for con- structing a domestic water system in Local Improvement District No. 511; said bids to be received on Monday, October 19th, 1936 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that this being the time for passing the or- dinance,-providing for the 1937 budget, it is ordered that the time be extended to Tuesday, October 6, 1936 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday, October 6th, 1936 at 9 o'clock A. B -160, entitled "AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. B -131 of the ordin- ances of the City of Yakima, by substituting a new section for Section 104 of Article XIV thereof and by adding a new section thereto entitled "Section 104 -a", and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by Temple and read by the City Clerk. Moved_ by Washburn, seconded by Temple that this being the time for.passing the :final budget providing for the estimated expenditures of the City of Yakima for the ensuing year; it is ordered that the ordinance providing for such expenditures be passed as finally read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -161, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE fixing the amount of the tad levies neces- sary to raise the amount of the.estimated expenditures of the City of Yakima for the ensuing year, to be.levied upon.the real and personal property of said City'!, was in- troduced by Washburn and read bythe City Clerk. ` Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -161 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
