The City Commission met in regular-session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded- by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
September 21, 1936 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -212, WHEREAS, Section 20 of Article V, of Ordinance No. B -131, passed
by the City Commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, on the 26th day of February,
1936, provided, among other things, that the City Commission determine and designate
traffic signs and signals to be placed upon the streets and alleys of said city, sub-
sequent to the passage of said ordinance, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient by the City Commission to cause
stop signs to be placed upon various -streets of the City of Yakima for the protection
and safety of the people of said city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TI RESOLVED by the City Commission of the
City of Yakima that a stop sign be placed on the west side of North Second and "B"
Streets;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City of
Yakima that a "No Parking" sign be placed on the south side of Quince Street between
First Avenue North and Fourth Avenue North.
ADOPTED by the City Commission this 29th day of September, 1936.

E. Fund x$387.92) Sanitation Dept. $419..75; Parks $223.50: carried, Temple, Washburn
and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -156, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of install-
ments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost'of the iiprovement in Local
Improvement District No. 506, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons
attached for the payment•of the unpaid portion thereof", was introduced by Washburn and
read by the City Clerk.#
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -156 be passed to its second
reading and read by'title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.

Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the
Assessment roll f or�the construction o•f a serer on 28th Avenue and other streets in
said city, in Local Improvement District No. 509, and there being insufficient protest
in writing or otherwise to said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered
that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as
finally read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -157, entitled', "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll coverin
Local Improvement District No. 509, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -14
of the ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City
Clerk.
