The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll calls
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
May 25th, 1936 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the payrolls for the month of May, 1936 be
allowed and`,the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows:. Various Dept.
$2,717.70; ealth Dept. $842.90; Police $3,421.06; Fire Dept. $4,834.65; Engineering
Dept. $730.1D8; Library $552.05; Irri W16.64; ation $416.50; Cemetery $127.57; Park 100.00.;
Municipal $113.00; L.I.D. Revolving F. R. & P. Fund $395.90; P. R. & P. Fund

RESOLUTION NO. C -ICO) BE IT RESOLVEC BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY-OF YAKIMA,
WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to improve the property lying between
28th Avenue South and 30th Avenue South and between West Yakima Avenue and West Chest-
nut Street, otherwise known as Block 2 of Highland Home Tracts, by constructing a pipe
sewer with the necessary wye branches, manholes, flush tanks and water connections
therefor, all of said improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans
and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
The district to be served by and assessed for the above described
improvement is described as follows, to -grit:
Block 2, Highland Home Tracts, according.to
the official plat thereof on file and of record
in the office of the Auditor of Yaki -ma County,
Washington.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the
City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima
County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 22nd day of. June,
1936, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to
said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of pay-
ment for said improvement; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice
of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of
acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of
notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed against
all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and
as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Com-
mission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and
other information required by law to be by him submitted.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 1st day of June, 1936.
