and Clark present on roll -call.
Moved'by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon -
day, May 4th, 1936 be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting
aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that in order to do a thorough job and furnish
all the information required by the City of Yakima it is necessary to extend the time
of filing the report of Henry L. Gray on the electric light and power situation; there-
fore it is hereby ordered that-the time of doing said work and filing said report men-
tioned in paragraph 1 of the contract between the City'and said Henry L. Gray, dated
January 21, 1936, be and the same is hereby extended to July 1, 1936: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as.follows: Sewage Disposal $443.25; Street
Dept. $183.50; Sanitation and Garbage $599.60; Cemetery $75.60; Cemetery Care $418.75;
Park $379.50; L.I.Ds 505 and 506 x$224.75 and Secondary Highway "656.93: carried, Tem-
ple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the petition of certain Real Estate Dealers
of the City to eliminate undesirable conditions such as lack of domestic water, sewage
disposal and restrictions to buildings was discussed with Dr. Lloyd Moffitt, City-Health
Officer, who has taken the matter under advisement and further disposition in the mat-
ter will be discussed at*a later date: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the City Attorney be given authority, to
give notice. of appeal to the Supreme Court in the case of Boyanton vs the City of Yaki-
ma and A. C. Vail; said Boyanton having heretofore procured a judgment in the Superior
Court: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye.on roll call.

Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -138 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that.Ordinance No. B -138 be passed to its third
reading and read in full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clerk voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -139 be passed as finally
read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved -by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give
notice to contractors by publication as required by law, for constructing an irrigation
system on 24th, 25th, 26th Avenues and other streets in said in L.I.D. No. 508; said
bids to be received on Monday, May 25th, 1936 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn; carried, Temple,-Washburn
and Clark voting aye on roll call.
