Moved by Temple by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, April 13th, 1936 be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and,•Clark voting,aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following claims numbered from 33222 to 33366 ine., amounting to the sum of $91,516.27 are hereby allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds in payment.therefor: Current Expense 83,963.00; P. R. & P. $131.00; Municipal $34,025.24; Irrigation $2,584.20; F. R. & P. 35.50; Cemeter $78.66; Accident 06.00; Garage $507.04; L.I.D. Revolving $960.50; Cemetery Trust 8.,013.Incinerator ; Delinquent Property Sales $556.42, Bond Sinking $36,273.07; Fixed Estimate 35.100; $4,018.45; Water Deposits $237.00; Road.& Bridge. 8i93; Secondary.nighway $76.99; Park Dept. claims 833 to 838 inc., $1,162.02; Water Dept. 3,369.44: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll:call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the City of Yakima is hereby authorized to en- ter into a contract with Fred Zier and the Yakima Valley Canal Co for twenty shares of stock in said canal for the sum .of $2,000.00; said shares of stock to represent 'the water right appurtenant to the West.one -half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 29- 13 -18, E. W. M. :carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting, aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -136, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE amending Section 74 of Ordinance No. A -205 of the ordinances of the City of Yakima, and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by Temple and read by -the City Clerk. Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -136 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -136 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No, B -136 be passed as finally read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by_Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, April 221 1936 at 2 o'clock P. M; carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye-on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 1936, 2 P. M. The City Commission met pursuant to, adjournment, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Wash- burn and Clark present on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that a thirty day option be given to Jerry Tyrrell, acting on behalf of an undisclosed principal for the purchase of the east; 90 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, Block 13, City of Yakima for the sum of $35,000.00 and the City Attor- ney is hereby authorized to prepare the necessary legal papers in accordance with the above proposition; :it being understood that the option shall recite, however, that said sale shall be governed by any legal action that might effect any ordinance passed to carry out the purchase of such sale: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
