The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and.-.Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
March 9th, 1936 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Department $823.90; Cemetery
$75.60; Cemetery Care $50:40; Water $164°30; Sanitation Department $152.56 and Garbage
Department #406.25:: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the City of Yakima is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with the Chicago Pump Co. of Chica o for material -to be used in
connection with the Sewage Disposal Plant in the sum of 95,350.00 and the Mayor and
City Clerk authorized to execute said agreement for and on behalf of said City: carried,
Temple, Washburn arLd Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday, March 17th,
1936,. at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ADJOURNED MEETING, TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 1936, 9 A. M.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to ad-
vertise for bids for the purchase of one panel body delivery truck and one 11 ton truck;
said bids to be received on Monday, March 30th, 1936 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Tem-
ple, Washburn and Clark.voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that claims on the Water Department, numbered
from 7623 to 7682 inc., in the sum of $6,555.96 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized
to issue warrants in payment therefor: carried, Temple, Mashburn and Clark toting aye
on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -182, WHEREAS, the City of Yakima, a municipal corporation, has 'hereto-
fore acquired the following described property, to -wit:
The north half of the southeast quarter of
the southeast quarter of Section 29, Town -
ship 13 North, Range 19, E. W. M., Yakima
County, Washington,
for the purpose of constructing a sewage disposal plant thereon; and,
WHEREAS, the acquisition of said described property cuts off all
right of ingress and egress to adjoining property thereto owned by Clara D. Sanford,,a
spinster; and
WHEREAS, at the time,of purchasing said described property it was
orally agreed that right of ingress and egress to said adjoining property of said Clara
D. Sanford be at all times permitted through said property purchased by said City;
NOW,_ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the proper officers thereof be and they are hereby authorized,
empowered and directed to make, execute and deliver to CLARA D. SANFORD, a spinster, a
good and sufficient easement deed of right of way for ingress and egress across said
described property to 'and as appurtenant to the following descl' bed property, situate
in the County of Yakima and State of Washington, to -wit:
The west half of the southwest quarter of
Section 28, Township 13 North, Range 19,
E. W. M.2
and
Lots 25, 32, 33 and L-0, Goodwin Is Five Acre
Tracts, according to the official plat thereof
on file and. of record in the office of the
Auditor'of Yakima County, Washington.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, SIGNED AND APPROVED, this '17th
day of March, 1936.

Moved by Mashburn, seconded by Temple that claims numbered from 33134 to 33221 inc.,
amounting to the sum of $7,223.28 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue
warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $3,867.30; Delinquent Property Sales
$155.29; Municipal $707.79; L.I.D. Guaranty $300,00; Cemetery $161.74; Accident $7.00;
F.R. & P. Fund 432.54; Irri 9246.00 ation $1,560.61; Municipal Garage 375.87; L.I.D. Revolving
$55.14; Water Deposit Fund and Park Fund $28.14: carried, Temple, Washburn and
Clark voting aye on roll call.

RESOLUTION 1110. 0-18.3, A RESOLUTION authorizing the. sale of Lot 9, Block 197, East Home
Addition to Yakima, Washington.
ISHEREAS, the. City of Yakima is the owner of the following describe
real property situated in Yakima - County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lot -9, Block 197, East Home Addition to Yakima, Washington
according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of foreclosure case 413 on sale of said
property for delinquent assessments, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to GUARANTY TRUST COMPANY, Trustee.
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and -they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to GUARANTY TRUST COMPANY, Trustee, for the total sum of One Hundred
Seven and 90 /100 Dollars ($107.90) and the Mayor, H. C. Temple, is hereby authorized
to execute a deed to said. premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby
authorized and- directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day
of March, A. D. 1936.
