The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes ofrthe regular meeting of Monday,
January 13th, 1935, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark_voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to adver-
tise for bids for furnishing material to be used for the, Sewage Disposal Plant; said
bids to be received on Monday, February 3rd, 1936 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following* claims numbered from 32912 to
32986 inc., in the sum of $20,875.79 be allowed and. the City Clerk authorized to issue
warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $3,702.92; Cemetery $34.69; Municipal
$4,039.54; L.I.D. Guaranty $800.00; Accident $37.25; P. R. & P. $70.83; L.I.D. Revolving
11,172.01; Irrigation $22.35; F. R. & P. $98.20; Fixed Estimate $25.00; Bond Sinking
9;018-35 Water Dept., claims Nos. 7487 to 7553 inc., in the sum of $9,473-19; Secondary
Highway i66.05; Water Deposit $57.00: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll calla
RESOLUTION NO. 0-173, WHEREAS, Article III, of Ordinance No. A -1228, passed by the ,City
Commission of the City of Yakima, on the 22nd day of September, 1930, provided among
other things that the City Commission determine and designate traffic signs and signals
to be placed upon the streets and alleys of said city, subsequent to the passage of said
ordinance, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient by the City Commission to cause
stop signs to be placed upon various streets of the City of Yakima for the protection
and safety of the people of said city;
NOWt THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by -the City of Yakima; that a stop
sign be placed on the south side of Division Street at Nineteenth Avenue South. .
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 20th day of January, 1936.

and revenue, the furnishing of bonds, penalties for the biolation thereof, repealing
other ordinances and declaring an emergency ", and declaring an emergency ", was introduced

and declaring an emergency ", was introduced b.y Temple_and read by.the City Clerk.
