Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, October 28th, 1935 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and-Clark voting aye on roll call. oved by Temple, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. 0-159 for constructing a sewer system on South Naches Avenue and other streets in said city, and there being a large percentage of opposition to said improvement by the property owners abutting upon said district, it is ordered that said project be inde.finat ly- postponed: carried, Temple,- Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. MToved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu= tion No. 0-160 for constructing a sewer on,Lincoln Avenue and other streets in said City, and there being no objections in writing, or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that an ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be passed: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Woved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that this being -the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -161 for constructing a paving in the alley in Block 4, Inglewood Addition and there being no objections to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that an ordinance creating�a� local improvement district be passed: carried,. Temple; Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -163, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That the.off er of the United States of America to the City of Yakima, to aid by way of grant in financ- ing the construction of a garbage and refuse incinerator, a copy of which offer reads as follows: " City of Yakima Yakima County, Washington. Washington D. C. October 161 1935 State File No.Wash.1252 Subject to the Rules and Regulations (PWA Form No. 179, July 22, 1935, as amended to date) which are made .a part hereof, the United States of America hereby offers to aid in financing the construction of a garbage and refuse incinerator (herein called the "Project") by making a grant to City of Yakima in the amount of 45 percent of-the cost of the Project upon completion, as determined by the Federal Administrator of Public Works, but not to exceed, in any event, the sum of $39,600.00. That the said City of Yakima, agrees to abide by the rules and regu- lations relating to such grant, a copy of which rules and regulations were annexed to the government's offer and made a part thereof. B -118, entitled "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a pipe sewer, together with wye branches, manholes, flush tanks and water connections therefor, establishing a local improvement district, providing -for method of payment therefor, andcreating a special fund ", was .introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -11,9 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
