Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, August 26th, 1935 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the City -Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $925.00; Sanitation $407.10; Cemetery $113.40; Cemetery Care'-$261.45; Parks $459.00; Water $656.70: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting -aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -148, WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission of the City of Yakima, a budget covering the detailed estimate of all expenditures proposed "to be made by the City of Yakima for the ensuing fiscal year and a statement of the pro- bable revenue from sources 'other than taxation for the ensuing fiscal year, in the man- ner and form prescribed by law; and WHEREAS; the same has been considered by the City Commission in detail and such revisions and additions made as has been deemed advisable: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the aforesaid budget be and.the same is hereby adopted and approved as the budget for the City of Yakima for the ensuing fiscal year and the City Clerk -is hereby directed to give notice that said budget has been completed and placed on file, and a copy thereof will be furnished any taxpayer who will call at the office of th -e City Clerk therefor, and that the City Commission of the City of Yakima will meet on th -e first Monday in October, 1935, at the offices of the City Commission in said City at the hour of 9 o'clock A. M. for the purpose of fixing the final budget and making the tax levies and notifying any taxpayer that he may appear at said meeting and be heard for or against any part of .said budget, and said notice shall be published once each week for two consecutive weeks immediately following the adoption of said preliminary budget. ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, SEPT. 6, 1935 9 o'clock A.M. RESOLUTION N0. C -159, A resolution designating the distribution of funds received by the City of Yakima under the provisions of Chapter 111, Laws of 1935. WHEREAS, the State Director of Highways has required that the City Commission of the City of Yakima shall by resolution designate percentages of monies to be received by the City of Yakima under the provisions of Chapter 111, Laws of 1935, that will. be used for future construction and maintenance and the retirement of principal and interest on warrants heretofore issued for street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE .IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY. COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, as follows: That of the money to be received by the City of Yakima under the provisions of Chapter 111, Laws of 1935, the City of Yakima will expend difty percent for street main- tenance and fifty per cent for payment of interest and principal on warrants heretofore issued for street purposes.
