The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
August 26th, 1935 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City -Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $925.00; Sanitation
$407.10; Cemetery $113.40; Cemetery Care'-$261.45; Parks $459.00; Water $656.70: carried,
Temple, Washburn and Clark voting -aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -148, WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission of the
City of Yakima, a budget covering the detailed estimate of all expenditures proposed "to
be made by the City of Yakima for the ensuing fiscal year and a statement of the pro-
bable revenue from sources 'other than taxation for the ensuing fiscal year, in the man-
ner and form prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS; the same has been considered by the City Commission in
detail and such revisions and additions made as has been deemed advisable:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA:
That the aforesaid budget be and.the same is hereby adopted and
approved as the budget for the City of Yakima for the ensuing fiscal year and the City
Clerk -is hereby directed to give notice that said budget has been completed and placed
on file, and a copy thereof will be furnished any taxpayer who will call at the office
of th -e City Clerk therefor, and that the City Commission of the City of Yakima will meet
on th -e first Monday in October, 1935, at the offices of the City Commission in said City
at the hour of 9 o'clock A. M. for the purpose of fixing the final budget and making the
tax levies and notifying any taxpayer that he may appear at said meeting and be heard
for or against any part of .said budget, and said notice shall be published once each
week for two consecutive weeks immediately following the adoption of said preliminary
budget.

Resolution No. C -149, A Resolution authorizing the sale of Lot 11, Block.98 "Rainier Addi
ion to North Yakima" (now Yakima) according to the official plat thereof now on file and
record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, to Aimee Fear, a widow;
WHEREAS, The City of Yakima 'is - -the owner of the following desciivea read, property
Situated in Yakima, Yakima County, W. ,, shington, to wit: Lot 11, Block 98 Rainier A jdit-
ion to North Yakima (now Yakima) according to the official plat thereof now on file and
of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Wgshington, by reason of a deed
therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima,.State of Wash-
ington,-to said City of.Yakima, on sale of said property for deliniguent assessments; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell said
premises-to Aimee Fear, a widow, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKI1.u,
WASHINGTON: That said above described premises be and they are hereby authorized to be
sold to Aimee Fear, a widow, for the total sum of Eight hundred eighto and No /100 dollars,
payable as follows: the sum of Fifty and N01100 (450.00) dollars in cash upon the execut-
ion of the contract herein authorized and the balance of Eight hundred thirty and No /100
t$830.00-) dollars in monthly payments of Tgn and No /100 including interest ($10.00) be-
ginning October 15th, 1935, and continuing until the entire apount has been paid. All de-
ferred payments to bear interest at the rate of 6% six per cent per annum payable monthly
with principal payments.
The purchaser under said contract shall also agree to pay all assessments against
daid premises falling due under any Local Improvement District or Districts hereafter
created or arising from levies hereafter placed against said premises, and the Mayor and
City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract in
duplicate with said purchaser under the terms hereinabove set forth.
Said agreement to be entered into shall also contain suitable provisions requiring
any buildings upon said premises to be insured at the expense of the second parties in a
solvent insurance company satisfactory to first party as its interest pay appear and shall
contain a provision that in case of destruction of'or damage to any buildings or improve-
ments on-said premises such damage or loss shall be the loss of second parties and shall
not be a ground for rescission of said contract; and said contract shall also contain a
suitable, provision providing for forfeiture thereof upon failure of second party -to make
any, payment of principal, interest, taxes or assessments therein provided for when same

shall become due or delinouent, notice of such forfeiture to be for 30 days and service
thereof to be by serving same personally ..upon second party o,r by mailing to them at
Yakima, Washington, and further provision shall be place therein that upon final payment
of said principal and interest and taxes and assessments the first party shall convey
said premises to second party by a good and sufficient quit claim conveying all the inter
est said City of Yakima has now in said premises; and the further provision shall be con-
tained in said contract against the assignment of second party without the consent of
first party had and obtained.

RESOLUTION N0. C -159, A resolution designating the distribution of funds received by the
City of Yakima under the provisions of Chapter 111, Laws of 1935.
WHEREAS, the State Director of Highways has required that the City Commission of the
City of Yakima shall by resolution designate percentages of monies to be received by the
City of Yakima under the provisions of Chapter 111, Laws of 1935, that will. be used for
future construction and maintenance and the retirement of principal and interest on
warrants heretofore issued for street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE .IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY. COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, as
follows:
That of the money to be received by the City of Yakima under the provisions of
Chapter 111, Laws of 1935, the City of Yakima will expend difty percent for street main-
tenance and fifty per cent for payment of interest and principal on warrants heretofore
issued for street purposes.
