Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of-Monday, July 29th, 1935, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $$134 -7.09; Parks x$633. 45; Cemetery x$110.25; and Cemetery Care x$289.80: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. 0-1411 A petition having been filed by the owner of all of Blocks 228 and 229 and all of Lots 7 to 16 both inclusive of Block 2.30 of the Original Townsite of North Yakima, now Yakima, according to the official plat thereof on file and of re- cord in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, for the vacation of all of t•he alleys in said Blocks 228 and 229 and all that portion of the alley lying between Lots 7 to 11, both inclusive and Lots 12 to 16, both inclusive, in Block 230 aforesaid: NOW,-THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said petition shall come on for hearing before the City Commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, at ten o'clock A. M., on the 26th day bf _August, 1935, at which said time said petition shall be heard and determined. The Clerk of the City of Yakima is hereby authorized and directed to give twenty (20) days' notice of the pendency.of said petition by a written notice posted-in three (3 of the most public places of the City of Yakima, and a like notice � on the alleys sought to be vacated; which said notice shall contain a statement that a . petition has been filed to vacate all of the alleys in Blocks 228 and 229 and all that portion of the alley lying between Lots 7 to 11 inclusive and Lots 12 to 16 inclusive, Block 230 of the Original Townsite of North Yakima, now Yakima; that said vacation shall be subject to all existing rights to the use of said alley for telephone and power lines as the same are now located upon said alley, and for gas, water and sewer pipes and mains as the.sa.me arel`now constructed in and under the ground surface of said alleys and subject further to the continued use of said alleys for the said public utility purposes with rights of ingress and egress for the purpose of repair and maintenance of said telephone and power lines, gas, sewer and water pipes and mains; together with the time and place fixed for the hearing of said petition.
