Voved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, June 24th, 1935 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting.aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, .seconded by Clark that the petition of owners abutting upon property bounded by Lenox Avenue and 12th Avenue South; th Northerly along 12th Avenue South to West Washington Street; th Easterly along West Washington Street to a point ' 135 feet East of the east line of 11th Avenue -- South; th Southerly parallel with llth Avenue -South to Lenox Avenue; th Westerly along Lenox Avenue to a point of beginning for the con- struction of a sewer b:e placed on file with the City Clerk: carried, T:emple,. Washburn. - and Clark voting aye on roll call.- ORDINANCE N0. B -103, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. B -91 of C . the ity of Yakima, amending certain sections thereof, adding certain new sections, and declaring an.emergency ", was introduced by Temple and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -103 be passed to its second reading and read by title bnly: carried Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No-.B-103 be passed to its third - reading and read in full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye: on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -103 be passed as finally read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn.to meet Wednesday, July 3rd, 1935 at 9 o'clock A. U: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED ?MEETING, WEDNESDAY, JULY 3, 1935, 9 A. M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Wash - burn and Clark present on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the claims of Fanny Jo Scott in the sum of $7,500'00; Charles Scott in the sum of $3,000.00 and B. R. Scott in the sum of $6,806.00 respectively, for damages alleged to have been sustained by reason of the collapse of a portion of th,e Mercy Building located on East Yakima Avenue on the 19th day of May, 1935, are hereby rejected: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the claim of H. D. Severson and Bernice Severson, husband and wife,. .'in the sum of $3,688.00 for - damages alleged to have been sustained by reason of the collapse of a.portion of the Mercy Building, located on East Yakima Are., on the 19th day of May, 1935, is hereby rejected: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. _ Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
