Loved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday; April 29th, 1935 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on -roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -12S, BE -,;IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:. That it is its intention to improve that certain property here- inafter described, by constructing pipe sewers with the necessary wye branches, manholds, flush, tanks and wager connections therefor, located as follows: Beginning on West "A" Street at the alley west of Eleventh Avenue'North; thence south- easterly along said alleylb West Yakima Avenue. Also beginning at the-intersection of the two alleys in Block 410 of J. D. Nichols Capitol Heights Addition, thence west to Hall Avenue. The.district to be served by and assessed for the above described. improvement is described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of West "Al' Street and Eleventh Avenue North; thence southeasterly along Eleventh Avenue North to West Yakima Avenue; thence southwesterly along West Yakima Avenue to Hall Avenue; thence northerly along Hall Avenue to West "A" Street; thence easterly along West "Al' Street to beginning; situate in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington; the above described sewers to be constructed in - full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared. by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.. All persons who.may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified. to appear and present such objection,'if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 27th day of Pray, 1935, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of pay- ment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hear- ing and of the .intention to make the aforesaid 'improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against all•of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as pro- vided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit. to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him su'omitted. B -0.5, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE relating to, and providing for, a license or occupation tax upon certain businesses, occupations, pursuits and privileges; de- fining offenses and providing penalties ", was introduced by Temple and read by the City Clerk. 1��oved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -95 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -95 be passed to its third reading and read in. full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -95 be passed as finally read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for receiving bids. on sewer pipe in Local,Improvement District No. 502, the following were received: Union Concrete Pipe Co. Concrete pipe $717.2+ Yakima Cement Products Manholes 228.00 A. B. Fosseen Co. 3 flush tank syphons 132.00 The above companies being the lowest and best bids; it is ordered, that contracts be awarded to said companies upon -receipt of proper bond as provided by law: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
