The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present can roll call.
Moved _by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
April 8th, 1935 be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $1,207.26; Cemetery
$56.70; Cemetery Care $297.95; Park $240.00; Water Dept. $488.70; carried, Temple, Wash-
burn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.. B -91, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the licensing of vending ma-
chines, pin ball machines and games of skill in the City- of Yakima; providing a penalty
for the violation thereof, and. repealing Ordinance No. B -47 ", was introduced by Temple
and-read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark thatOrdinance No. B -91 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that 6rdinance No. B -91 be passed to its third
reading and read in. full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on_ roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -91 be passed as finally read:
carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that P. V. Tozier be appointed to the position of
City License Inspector: said office to be combined with his regular duties of Deputy
City Treasurer and to take effect May 1st, 1935: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark
voting aye on roll call.
