Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, October 8th, 1934, be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye_ on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $907.94; Park: $174.00; Irrigation $834.00; Cemetery $72.00; Cemetery Care $78.00; Sanitation $250.00; carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that the following claims in the sum of $24, 747.96 (Nos. 30920 to 30997 inc.,) be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $8,842.5 ; Bond Sinking $11,777.63; Road & Bridge $300.00; L.I.D. Guaranty $6,850.00; L.I.D. #499; $148.61; Delin u.ent Property Sales $173.25; Irrigation $1 274.77; Cemetery $66.78; Road & Bridge c" ''73.90; Lighting $63.20; Municipal Garage $26-.39 Park Dept. (claims 689 to 695) in the sum of $$174.82; Water Dept. (claims 6697 to 6729) in the sum of $$1,875.53: carried., Stratt Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll. call'. RESOLUTION NO. C -96, WHEREAS, Article 111, of Ordinance No. A -1228, passed by. the City Commission of the City of Yakima, on the 22nd day of September, 1930, provided among other things that the City Commission determine and designate traffic signs and signals to be placed upon the streets and alleys of said city, subsequent to the passage of said ordinance, and WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient by the City Commission to cause stop signs and signals to be placed upon various streets of.the City of Yakima for the Protection and safety of the people of said city; NOW,-THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That a stop sign be placed on the east side of North Fourth Street at its intersection with 1101' Street, and that a stop sign be.placed on.Eighth Avenue North at its intersection with the north side of Walnut street.
