HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/08/1934 Business Meetingr The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Mashburn. and.•Clark present on roll call. s ` Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that a hearing be had on Saturday, October 13th, 1934 at 10 o'clock A. M. for rezoning the following residence property from "B" class- ification to "C" classification, to -wit: all that portion bounded on the South by East "G" Street, on the west by North Front Street, on the north by North Avenue,'and on the east by the alley east of North First Street: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -79, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the conducting .of general and special elections; defining special elections and declaring an emergency ", was introduce by • Stratton and read by the City Clerk. Moved -by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B =79 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clar -k voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -79 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. , Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -79 be passed as finally read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that there being no further business to come before the Commission we do now adjourn: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.'
