Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, September 24th, 1934'be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark: voting aye..on roll calla Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept.. $1,011.06; Permanent Highway $14.00; Irrigation $834.00; Water $712.20; Park $174.00; Cemetery $72.00; Ceme tery Care $186.00: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that thepyarolls for the month of September, 1934 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Dept. $2,244.00; Engineering $470..00; Health $834.75; Police $2,953-00; P. R. & P. Fund $211.25; Fire Dept. $4,467.0; Library $$498.15; Irrigation $300.00; L.I.D. Rev. $22.50; Cemetery $121.50; Park $120.00; F. R. & P. $329.75: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clerk voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday, October 2nd, 1934 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED 14EETING, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2nd, 1934, 9 A. M. The City Commission met.- pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Wash- burn and Clark present on roll call. 'ORDINANCE NO. B -78, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE fixing the amount of the tax levies necessary to raise the amount of the estimated expenditures of the City of Yakima, for the ensuing year, to be levied upon the real and personal property of said City ", was introduced by Washburn and read by the City Clerk. Moved'by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -78 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -78 be passed to its third read - ing and read in full: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -79 be passed as finally read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -95, WHEREAS, Article 111, of Ordinance No. A -1228, passed by the City Commission of the City of Yakima, on the 22nd day of September, 1930, provided among other things that the City Commission determine and designate traffic signs and signals to be placed upon the streets and alleys of said city, subsequent to the passage of said ordinance, and WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient by the City Commission to cause a stop sign to be placed upon a certain street of the City of Yakima for the protection and safety of the people of said city; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That a stop sign be placed on the w at its intersection with "C" Street.
