and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
May 14th, 1934 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that the following claims be allowed and-the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Claims 30400 to 30448
inc., Current Expense.$565.59; Cemetery $295.00; Irrigation $157-00; Policemens' Relief
& Pension $$8.00; Fifth Avenue Improvement $73.31; Bond Sinking $5 089.28; L.I.D. Guaranty
$3 *85.67; Road & Bridge $1.50; Municipal Garage $2.50 and L.I.D. #422 18.19 carried,
Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, May 25th,
1934 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.

The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Wash-
burn -.and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that petitions having been filed with the City
Clerk on the 22nd day of May, 1934 protesting the enforcement of Ordinance No. B -68 here-
tofore passed by the City Commission on the 2 4 rd day -of April, 1934, providing for the
sale of the East 90 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3 and', Block 13 to the General Petroleum Corpor-
ation; published April 23rd, 1934 and effective May 23rd, 1934, and the City Clerk having
checked said petitions in compliance with Article IV of the City Charter and it appearing
from-the certificate of said clerk that temper cent of the.-total vote cast at the last
General City-Election held,on the 2nd day of December, 1929, had signed said petitions;
it is.ordered that a special election be held-for the purpose-of-submitting-said'pro-
position to the qualified electors of said City, the date for said election to be .fixed
at.a -later date. carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that there being no further business to come
before the Commission we'do now adjourn: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting
aye on roll call.
