Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Washburn Moved. by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday, January 2nd, 1934 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -58, entitled, "An Ordinance amending Section 307, paragraph a, of Ordin- ance No. B -25, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE to be known as The Electrical Code of the City of Yakima for safeguarding life and property by regulating the installation, alteration, repair, use and operation -of electric wires, appliances, appatus and devices in or about buildings on private or public property (with certain exceptions; providing for the licensing for regulation and revenue of electrical contractors, dealers and wiremen; de- fining approved electrical materials and appliances; prohibiting the.sale or use of un- approved materials and appliances; providing penalties for the violation hereof; repeal- ing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith and declaring an emergen- cy.!'.._.and declaring an..emergencyy" was introduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk.
