Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 11th, 1933 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye- on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the application of Jos. Blalock to operate a rooming house at 125 South Front Street is hereby rejected: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor: Street Dept. $979.25; Park Dept. $$18.00; Cemetery x$66.00; Cemetery Care $75..00 and Water Dept. $191.10: carried, Stratton, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call., Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor: claims numbered from 29708 to a9815 amount- ing to the sum of $16,512.46, segregated as follows: Current Ex ense 7, 469.75; Cemetery, 170.53; Cemetery Care $$1.20; Irrigation $331.92; Road & Bridge 113.35; L.I.D. ADJOURNED MEETING, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 19, 1933, 4 P. M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Wash- burn and Clark present on roll call. ORD- INANCE NO. 13-57, entitled "An Ordinance repealing Ordinance. No. A -501, and re- enact- ing Section 1 of Ordinance No. A -65 as originally adopted, being an ordinance regulating the slaughtering of'animals and the sale of meat products intended for human consumption, and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -57 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton', Washburn and Clark- voting aye on roll call. - Roved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -57 be passed to its third read- ing-and read in full: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark.voting -aye on roll call. Moved'by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -57 be passed as finally read: carried, Stratton,. Washburn and Clark voting aye.on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -75, -A RESOLUTION authorizing the execution of an agreement between the Northern Pacific Railway Company, and the City of Yakima, Washington, a Municipal Cor- poration, to construct, operate and maintain upon its right of way an eight inch cast iron water pipe line across the Railway Company's right of way and under its tracks in what would be a westerly production of Washington Street (formerly Rose Street) in said City according to the location indicated in red on print attached hereto and made a part hereof marked "Exhibit" and dated June 6, 1933. This permanent permit supersedes and cancels that certain temporary permit known as lease No. 27892 in favor of the 0 W R. R. & N. Company dated May 15, 1914, subsequently assigned to the City of Yakima, and the City agrees to remove the present 4 inch pipe line and restore the premises to the satisfaction of the Superinten- dent of the Railway Company. The rights hereby granted are subject to existing permits hereto- fore granted by said Railway Company along or across the above described premises. NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and City Clerk.of said City of Yakima are hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Yakima and de- liver copies thereof to the said Northern Pacific Railway Company.
