Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the following payrolls be.allowed'and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor as follows: Street Dept. V98*47;. Permanent Hi.ghway$83.00; Cemetery $72.00; Cemetery Care $150.00 and Parks $19.7 carried, Strat- ton,- Washburn and.Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that this being the time for bids to be opened.for the purchase of a Motor Patrol Grader, the following were received and tabulated: Austin Western Road Machinery Co. $4,100.40; Webb - McDonald Tractor & Equipment Co. $3,012.76; Feenaughty Machinery Co. $4,027.50; Lampert Implement Co. $2,899.13; Valley Iron Works $4,024.00; Service Equipment Co. $3,902.00: It is,ordered that the bids be taken into consideration and the awarding of the contract postponed-to 1:30 P.M: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that being no-.further business to come before the Commission we do now adjourn: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, OCTOBER. 30, 1933, 1:30 P. M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Wash- burn and Clark present on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the bid of the Austin - Western Road & Machinery Co. on one Austin x'77" Sr Dual Motor Grader, together with equipment thereon, in 'he sum of $4,556.00.1esthtrade -in allowance on old city grader.in the sum of $455.60, leaving a balance of $4,100.40; being the best bid for the type of grader best suited for the needs of the city, said bid is hereby awarded to said company: carried, Stratton, Wash- burn.-and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that there being no further business to come be- fore the Commission we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday, October 31st, 1933 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED PTEETING,- TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 1933,9 A. M.
