The City Commission met in- regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Washburn
and-..Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
September 18th, 1933 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting
aye on roll calla
RESOLUTION NO. 0-71, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 4, MacCrimmon and Needham's
Sub Division to M. E. Green and Della Green, husband.and wife..
WHEREAS, The City.of Yakima is the owner of the following described
real property situated in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to wit:
Lot 4, MacCrimmon and Needham's Sub-Division,
of Lots Numbered Fifty -eight (58), Fifty -nine
(59), Sixty (60), of Ker's Villa Lots
according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas-
urer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yaki-
ma, on sale of said property for delinquent assessments, and
WHEREAS;: It appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to M. E. Green and Della Green, husband and wife upon the
terms and conditions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby authorized
to be sold to M. E. Green and Della Green, husband.and wife for the total sum of Three
Hundred Fifty and 00 /100 ($350.00) Dollars, payable as follows: the sum of Sixty and
00 /100 ($60.00) Dollars in cash upon the.execution of the contract herein authorized
And the balance of Two Hundred Ninety and 00 /100 ($290.00) Dollars in monthly payments
of Five ($5.00)` Dollars, beginning June 1, 1934, and continuing until the entire amount
has been paid. All deferred payments. to bear interest at the rate of six (6%) per cent
per annum payable monthly with principal payments.
The purchaser under said contract shall also agree to pay all
assessments against said premises falling due under any Local Improvement District or
Districts hereafter created or arising from levies hereafter placed against said premises
and the Mayor and City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into a contract in duplicate with said purchaser under the terms hereinabove set forth.
Said agreement to be entered into shall also contain suitable pro-
visions requiring any buildings upon said premises to be insured at the expense.of the
second parties in a solvent insurance= company satisfactory to first party as its interest
may appear and shall contain a provision that in case of destruction of or damage to any
buildings or improvements on said premises such damage or loss shall be the loss of sec-
ond parties and shall not be a ground for rescission of said contract; and said contract
shall also contain a suitable provision providing for forfeiture thereof upon failure of
second party to make any payment of- principal, interest, taxes or assessments therein
provided for when same shall become due or delinquentp notice of such forfeiture to be
for 30 days and service thereof 'to be by serving same personally upon.second parties or
by mailing to them at Yakima, Washington, and a further provision shall be placed there-
in that upon final payment -of said principal and interest and taxes and assessments the
first party shall convey said premises to second parties by a good and sufficient Quit
Claim Deed conveying all the interest said City of Yakima has now in said premises; and
the further provision shall be contained in said contract against the assignment Of .sec-
and parties without the consent of first party had and obtained.

City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the various funds as follows: Current Expense
Total, $�j74.79, Claim Nos. 29456 to 29467 inc. as listed in the claim register; Water,
Total $145.00, claim no. 6067 as listed in the claim register; Park, Total $15.81, claims
nos. 572., 573 as listed in the claim register; L.I.D. Revolving, Total. $145.00, claim no.
29469 as listed in the claim register; Bond Sinking, Total $31,317.31, claim no. 29 455
as listed in the claim register; P. R. & P. Total, $76.64 claim no 29457 to 2946+ inc.,
as listed in the claim register and Cemetery Trust, Total-$3,141-80, claim no. 29468 as
listed in the claim register: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Washburn-, seconded by Stratton that there being no further business to come be-
fore the commission'we do now adjourn to meet Saturday, September 30th, 1933 at 9 o'clock

1933 be approved and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various
