Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
July 24th, 1933 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on.roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded -by Stratton that the payrolls for the month of July, 1933
be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Dept.
$2,254.00; Health Dept. $794.75; Fire Dept. $4,507-50; Police Dept. $2,877.67; Irriga-
tion Dept. $300.00; L.I.D. Revolving $20.00; Cemetery $121.50; Parks $370.00; F. R. & P.
$257.75; P. R. & P. $155.00; Library $612.00; Water $2,908.86; Engineering $764.89:
carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that this being the time set f or the hearing in the
matter of B. Magra, charged with violating the provisions of-his beer license at Noo 112
East Chestnut Street, it is ordered that said hearing be postponed to Wednesday, August
2nd, 1933 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, August
2nd; 1933,at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.

The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment: Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Wash-
bur ..and Clark present on roll calla.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn-that this being the time set for the adjourned
hearing in the matter of B. Magra, charged with violating the provisions of his beer
license'at No. 112 East Chestnut Street in'the City of Yakima; said Magra appearing in
person and by his attorney W. G. Boland, was found guilty of violating the City Ordinanc
as charged by the City, Commission; it is ordered that License No. 1043 for the sale of
draft and bottled beer to be consumed on the premises and License No. 1044 to operate a
restaurant respectively, at No. 112 East Chestnut Street are hereby revoked and cancell-
ed: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn: carried, Stratton,
burn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
