Thet.City Commission met in regular session, -Mayor Buck and Commissioners Bishop and
Clark present on roll call,
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 1, 1948, were approved as read:
Moved. by Bishop, seconded by Buck that this being the time for receiving bids for the
Test Well, the following were received: Ralph Cassell $2946.00; A.A. Durand and Son
$2500.00 and Boehler and Huber $2030.00. The bid of Boehler and Huber in the sum of
$2030.00 was accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute a contract on
behalf of the City for doing said work upon the filing of the proper bond as required
by law: carried Buck, Bishop and .Clark voting aye on roll call,
0 DINANCE NO. B -857, amending subsection (b) of Section 2, and amending subsection (b)
of Section 109 . and amending subsection (b) of Section 15 of Ordinance No.-B-293, en-
titled: "AN ORDINANCE regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries;
regulating and limiting the use of buildings and premises; and the height and size of
buildings; providing for yards, courts and other open spaces; establishing districts
for said purposes, and providing for a board adjustment, and repealing Ordinance Nos.
B -22, B -35, B -43, B -51, B -71, B -126, B -147 and B-172".
Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that Ordinance No. B -857 be passed as read: carried
Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -858, relating to a pension, relief, disability, and retirement system;
making an election to join the state -wide system pursuant to Chapter 71, Laws of 1947,
and providing for notification to the Governor of such election.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that Ordinance No. B -858 be passed as read: carried
Buck, Bishop and {Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that we do now adjourn: carried Buck, Bishop and
Clark - voting aye on roll call.
