The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 1, 1947, were approved as read: Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that the petition of W. W. Nettleship, for permission to change a class B. residential district to a business district comprising two lots on the southwest corner of North 5th Street is hereby continued to Monday, December 15, 1947, at 10 o'clock A:M: carried Buck, Bishop and +'Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that the hearing on Resolution No. C -761 for the va- cation of a portion of East B Street is hereby continued to Monday, -December 22, 1947, at 10 o'clock A.M: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C-763, WHEREAS the (City of Yakima heretofore and on December 21, 1945, agreed to permit Henry 0. Decoto and Roy Decoto, doing business as Decoto ..Brothers, to erect -upon their premises situate in Yakima, Yakima (County, Washington, and described as part -of Lot 2, Summitview Acre Tracts, a corrugated sheet iron building to be used for storage purposes, which said building did not and does not comply with the building code of the City of Yakima, said permission being granted upon condition that the said building would be removed on or before December 21, 1947, and upon the further condition that said parties post a bond in the penal 'sum of $500.00, to be forfeited in the event said building was not removed by said date. AND WHEREAS the said Decoto Brothers have requested an extension of time within which to remove said building of six months from and after December 21, 1947, and it is considered for the best interests of all of the parties that said ex- tension be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE (CITY (COMMISSION of the City of Yakima, Washington, that Henry O..Decoto and Roy Decoto, doing business as De- coto Brothers, are hereby granted an extension of time within which to remove their said building from the premises described herein, said extension of time being for the period of six months from and after December 21, 1947. This extension is granted upon condition that the said Decoto ,Brothers execute in favor of the City of Yakima an ex- tension of their indemnity agreement dated December 21, 1945, and post with the !City of Yakima a bond in the amount of $500.00, which bond shall be forfeited to the !City of Yakima in the event the said building is not removed within such extended period of time. Moved by Clark.. seconded by Bishop that' this being the time for the hearing ,on the assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 631 and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said assessment roll, or any part thereof; It is ordered that the ordinance con- firming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed-as read: carried Buck, Bishop and (Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -834, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 631, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -801 of the ordinances of the City of Yakima. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that Ordinance No. B -834 be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that this being the time for the hearing on Resolutio No. C -762 providing for the construction of a sewer system on 27th Avenue South and other streets in said City more particularly described and set forth in said Resolution No. C -762 and therebeing no obejctions in writing or otherwise to said improvement, or any part thereof; It is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement distric be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and ?Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -835, providing f or the improvement of property in the City of Yakima.. Washington, by the construction-of a sewer; establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund.' -Moved by (Clark, seconded by Buck that Ordinance No. B -835 be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that this being the time for the adjourned hearing on Resolution No. C -760 providing for the surfacing of what is known as the South Grandview :Curb and Gutter District and there being no objections in writing or other- wise by the-property owners in said district: It is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll-call. ORDINANCE NO. B -836, providing for the improvement of property in the, :City of Yakima, Washington, by the improvement of certain streets therein; establishing a Local Im- provement District, providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that Ordinance No. B -836 be passed as read: carried =Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
