Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, September 29, 1947, be approved as read; carried - 'Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. BEFORE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA STATE OF WASHINGTON In the Matter of the Vacation of ) the North 20 feet of Lot 21, ) .:'RESOLUTION.NO. C -753 Hacketts Subdivision. ) A RESOLUTION fixing the time for hearing on Petition for Vacation of Street. WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed with the °City Commission of the City of Yakima, a municipal corporation, praying for the vacation of street described as follows, to -wit: The north 20 feet of Lot 21, Hacketts Subdivision, according to the plat.thereof recorded in Volume !tH" of Plats, page 50, Records of Yakima (County, Washington. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That said Petition shall be brought on for hearing and determination on Monday, the 27th day of October, 1947, at the hour of 10 :00 o'clock in the forenoon on said day at the office of the City .Commission of the (City of Yakima, at the City Hall in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard, and that notice of such hearing be given as provided by law. B -814, amending Ordinance No. A -192 entitled "AN ORDINANCE relating to local improvements in the City of Yakima and repealing all ordinances and parts of ord- inances in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency! Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that Ordinance No. B -814 be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and +Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that this being the time for the hearing on the offs- cial budget for the ensuing year and no.taxpayer being present to object to said budg- et or any part thereof; It is ordered that said proceeding be adjourned to Wednesday, October 8, 1947 at 10 o'clock A. Ms carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 8, 1947 ORDINANCE NO. B -815, adopting the official budget of the (City of Yakima for the year 1948. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that no objections having been presented in writing or otherwise to the passage of the 1948 budget: It is ordered that Ordinance No. B- 815 adopting the official budget be passed as read: carried Buck and Bishop voting aye on roll call. Clark voting no. ORDINANCE NO. B ®816, fixing the amount of the tax levies necessary to raise the amount of the estimated expenditures of the City of Yakima, Washington, for the ensuing year to be levied upon the real and personal property of said city. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that Ordinance No. B -816 fixing the amount of the tax levies necessary to raise the amount of estimated expenditures of the City of Yakima too be -levied upon the real and personal property of said City be passed as read: carried Buck and Bishop voting aye on roll call,Clark voting no.
