Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, April 14th, 1947 be approved as read: carried, Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that the plat of the City Planning Commission'- relative to changing the curb and paved area at the corner of West Chestnut Street and 18th Avenue at an estimated -cost of $200.00 be. approved.: carried, Buck, = Bishop and Clark' voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that this being the Ime for hearing on Resolution No. C -716, which was postponed from Monday, April 14th, 1947, providing•for a.n irriga- tion system commonly called the "North Hillcrest System" and the matter of the former protest by property owners on Glenn Drive, having been adjusted; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be passed as read: carried, 13uck,B1sho and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B"775, AN ORDINANCE Providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington by constructing an irrigation system to serve various lots and tracts of ,la.nd; establishing a, local improvement district; providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. Movpd'by Buck, seconded by Clark. that Ordinance No. R -775 be approved as read; carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that this being the time for the hearing on'Resolution No. 0-722, providing for an Irrigation System on Lots 6 to 9, inclusive of Block 1, and Lots 3 to 19, inclusive of Block 2 of.Summitview Addition, and the matter of the property owners of Lots 1 and 2, which were formerly incorporated in said district having protested for the reason that they already were served with water; it is hereby ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passed as read, with the exception of Lots 1 and 2 in Block 2 of said Summitview Addition, which are hereby eliminated: carried, Buc::, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -776, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of certain property by the construction of an irrigation system; establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund. Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that Ordinance No. B - ?;76 be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE No. B -777, AN .ORDINANCE amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. B -642, passed and approved by the City Commission June 1, 1945, as amended by Ordinance No. B -646, passed and approved-by the City Commission June 11., 1945, entitled "AN ORDINANCE pro - viding_ for licensing and regulating the operation of certain amusement machines common- ly known as 'Pinball.machines'.a.nd other devices and games for use by the public; pro- viding penalties for the violation hereof; repealing ordinances in conflict herewith,, and fixing the effective date of this ordinance..". Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that Ordinance No. B -777 be passed as read: carried, Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
