The general plan for improviing.' Yakima Avenue was announced by the City Engineer and questions were asked by various members of the group. There were about 25 property own- ers present. The discussion led into the question of future overhead or underpass cross Ing on Yakima Avenue, and there was some discussion as to whether,or not the plans for surfacing the avenue should wait until the matter of the crossing was settled. It was the informal opinion of the commissioners that it would be inadvisable to delay the matter of resurfacing. An informal vote was taken among the property owners as to the choice between asphaltic concrete and cement concrete and substantially all those in- dicating a preference were in favor of asphaltic concrete. It was the 'consensus of the commissioners that the City should proceed to establish an L.I.D. for the purpose of paying for the resurfacing as soon as the engineer could get out the necessary data. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that we do now adjourn: carried, Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ~ M a y o r P s ATTEST: C i t y 1 e r k
