Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 16th and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by. Sanford, seconded by Clark that this being the time for receiving bids for the purchase of a Plymouth Sedan, and the Hassett Motor Company being the only bidder in!, the sum of x;897.14, said bid was accepted: carried Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Sanford, seconded by Clark that this being the time for receiving bids on a' Tractor for the Street Department, the following bids were received: Webb Tractor Company �7, 702.00; Yakima Farm Implement Supply ompany 'p7.,981.00; - Wikstrom Motors $7,469.00; the bid of Wikstrom Motors in the Sum -of 87,469.00 was accepted: carried; Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -703, A RESOLUTION authorizing the rental under a month. -to month tenancy of Lots 17 to 22, Block 49, Town of North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume "A" of Plats, Page 10, and re- recorded in Volume "E" of Plats, page 1, Records of Yakima County, Washington. WHEREAS the City of Yakima is the, owner of the Property descrilbed in the caption hereof which was acquired as a site for a new city hall; and 1ATHEREAS said property is not irm- iiediately required for such purpos and Dave Reichert desires to lease the same Linder a month to month tenancy, nova, there- fore., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIIMISSION that the property described in the caption hereof be leased to Dave Reichert under a month -to month tenancy•beginni January 1, 1947,, and continuing until - terr7inated as ,provided by lava at the monthly rental of ;100.00 per month, payable monthly in advance on the first .day of each month beginning January 1, 1947. RESOLUTIOI�l NO. 0704 A RESOLUTION providing for restricted parking on a portion of Cherry Avenue. WHEREAS the establishment of a bus line on Cherry Avenue requires restricted parking on that portion thereof herein described as a traffic safety measure, now therefore, I BE IT RESOLVED that no parking shall be permitted on the south side of Cherry Avenue between Custer Avenue and 16th Avenue, Yakima, Washington. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that appropriate signed by posted evidencing such restricted parking.
