The City Commission f'riet in regular session, Mayor Mogren, and Commissioners Sanford and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
November 25th, 1946 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren,
Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Sanford, seconded by TJtogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: -Sanitation De -pt. $1,994.00; Cemetery
, 363.00; Street. $2,999,00; Water ,;1, 863.60; carried, Mogren, -Sanford and Clark voting
aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -700, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COTyIMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASH.
That it is its intention to improve the lots and tracts of land
included within the following, described district by constructing pipe sewers with the,
necessary vaye branches, manholes and flush tanks with water connections therefor, all of
said improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications
to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
The district to be served by and assessed for the above described
improvement is described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning 330 feet north of the southeast corner of the West half
of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 26,
Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M., thence west to the west line
of the east half of the west half of the southeast quarter of the
of the northwest quarter of said section 26; thence south 330 Beet
to the center line of Nob Hill Boulevard: thence westerly along
said center line to 34th Avenue south; thence northerly along 34th
Avenue South extended to the northwest corner of thesoutheast '
quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 22, Township 13 North,
Range 18, E.W.M., said point being the northwest corner of Block
2 of Seegertts-Subdivision, unrecorded; thence easterly along the
north line of Seegertts Subdivision and the center line of Wn st
Walnut Street to 28th Avenue South; thence southerly along 28th
Avenue South to `I'ieton Drive; thence easterly along Tieton Drive
to 27th Avenue South; thence southerly along 27th Avenue South!to
to the right of way of the Naches and Cowiche Canal; thence-
south-easterly along said right of way to 26th Avenue South; thence
southerly along 26th Avenue South to the point of beginning.
Except Lots 69 to 113 of Brackett Park and except Lots 15 and 21
of Cardiff t s Suburban Tracts, and except Lots 16 and 17, Block ;2
of Seegertts Subdivision, unrecorded, and except the following!
described tracts: The west half of the northwest quarter of the
southeast quarter of the northwest quarter and that part of the
northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of the Northwest quarte
of Section 26, Township 13 North, mange 18, lying east of the
Naches and Cowiche Canal. Also except beginning at the southeast
corner of Lot 10 Manteyts Addition; thence easterly and parallel
with Nob Hill Boulevard to the east line of Lot 43 Block 1
Shannon Homes, thence northerly and parallel with 29th Avenue
South to Bonnie Doon Avenue; thence westerly along Bonnie Doom
Avenue to the right of way of the Naches and Cowiche Canal; thence
southerly and westerly along said right of way to the east; line of
Lot 10 of T;Ianteyt s Addition; thence south along said east line -to
the beginning.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the
City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima
County, Washington, at the hour of 10 of clock A.M., on Monday the 16th day of December,
1946, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to
said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of pay-
ment for said improvement; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of
said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of
acquiring right of way easement, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of�,
notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed against
all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as
above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City -
Commission at or prior to the date fixed Herein for said hearing, all of the data and
other information required by law to be by him submitted.

by reason of a deed issued by the Treasurer.of Yakima County, Washington to said City
of Yakima, and t.
ViIIIEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima, to sell said premises to Fred A. Cleman and Georgia M. Cleman, husband and wife,
~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby authoriz
to be sold to Fred A. Cleman and Georgia M. Cleman, husband and wife, for the total sum
of One Hundred and no/100($100.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, A. W. Mogren, is hereby
authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is
hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of
Yakima.

levied_ for the payment of the cost of the improvement in .Local
Improvement District No. 600, and providing for the method of
payment of the unpaid portion thereof.
Proved by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -745 be passed as read:
carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -7462 AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of
assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement
District No. 603, and providing for the method of payment of the unpaid portion thereof.

ORDINANCE No. B -747, AN ORDINANCE granting to Richey &, Gilbert Compan,f permission to
construct, maintain and operate a reinforced concrete tunnel underneath Second Avenue
between "A" Street and "B" Street within the City of Yakima.
