The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren, and Commissioners Sanford
Clark present on .roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, '
September 9th 1946 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye :
on roll call.
Moved by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that t < _e followi;.lg claimes be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $5,691.27;
Street $4,914.41; Cemetery $108.38; Irrigation $877.03; Gas & Oil $1,107.80; Water
$16,143.19; P. R. & P. $10.50: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Movedby Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation $1,667.20; Cemetery
??628.00; Water $1; 200.50; Street $2, 296.00; ;Entineers $64.50; carried, Mogren, Sanford
and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that the City Engineer having reported the comple-
tion of the sewer in L.I.D. No. 603 by the contractor, said work is hereby accepted, and
the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the,'
City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, October 7th
1946 at 10 o'clock, A.M.: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. .7.29E AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assess
ments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District
No. 5999 and providing for the method of payment of the unpaid portion thereof.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that Ordinance No. B -729 be passed as read:

Movedby Clark, seconded by Mogren that this being they me for the hearing on
Resolution No. C -695 providing for a sewer district in,Park addition and there being no
objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof, it is order-
ed that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passed as read: carried,
Mogren, .c.Sdnford and Clark voting aye on -roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -730, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City
of Yakima, Washil.gton, by the construct-ion of a sewer; establishing a Local Improvement
District; providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -730 be passed as read: carried,
Mogren Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, September
18th; 1946 at 10 o' clock, A.M: carried., Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll
call.

The City Commission .met pursuant to adjo :Irnment, Mayor.:.!Mogren and Commissioners Sanford
and Clark present on roll call.
'Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby instructed
to execute an agreement on behalf of the City of Yakima, with the Yakima Valley
Transportation Company whereby the Company agrees to pay the sum of $35,000.00, to
said City of Yakima for the removal of its tracks from ,Test Yakima Avenue and East
Yakima Avenue between 6th Avenue and 8th Street and from North 8th Street between
Yakima Avenue and "G" Street and for paving and repaving of said portion of Yakima
Avenue and said North 8th Street from which said tracks are to be removed; said
agreement dated this 18th day of September, 1946: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark
voting aye on roll call.
ORDINAN +CE NO. B -731, AN ORDINANCE granting to the Yakima Valley Transportation Company,
a corporation, a franchise to operate motor vehicles, commonly known as busses, on
certain public streets in the City of Yakima;,

ORDINANCE NO. B-732, AN ORDINANCE granting to Yakima Valley Transportation Company,
corporation, a franchise to operate and maintain railway tracks and a railway syste
thereon on certain public streets in the City of Yakima.
Moved by Mogren, Seconded by Sanford that Ordinance No. B -732 be passed as read: j
carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clamc voting aye on roll call.
