The City Commission met in' regular session, Mayor Mogren and Cormnissioners Sanford
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Dlogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
August 12, 1946 be approved as read: carried; Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that this being the time for the hearing on
Resolution No. C-6933- for paving alleys in Blocks 34, 492 53, 231, 232, 290, and 371 in
Capitol Addition and there being insufficient protest in writing or otherwise to said
improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local,
improvement district be passed as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye

ORDINANCE N0, B -724, AN ORDINANCE providi�,g for the improvement of the alleys in Blocks
34, 49, 53, 231, 232, the east and west alley in Block 290, and also the alley in Block
371 Capitol Addition, City of Yakima, a
by paving the sane with one course Portland cement
concrete six inches in thickness; establishing a local improvement district, providing
the method of payment therefor t.nd creating a special fund.
Moved by'Clark, seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -724 be passed as read: carried,
Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and in-
structed to advertised for bids by publication as provided by law for paving the alley
in L.I.D. No. 607; said bids to be received on Tuesday, September 3, 1946 at 10 o 'clock
A.M.- carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
