B -723, ANJ.ORDINANCE an ending Ordinance No. B -648 entitled: "AN ORDINANCE .providing for the licensing and regulation of certain mechanical devices commonly known as "Juke Boxes ", providing penalties for the violation hereof and fixing the 'effective date of this ordinance." as amended by Ordinance No. B -719 by repealing Section 3 -A relative to operatorts license. Moved by Sanford, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -723 be passed as read: carried,. Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call, Mogren absent. RESOLUTION NO. C -694 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: N That it is its intention to construct a domestic water system to serve all the lots and tracts of land included within the following described district: Lots 1 t.o 5, inclusive of Royal Crest; Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Carolyn Place, and a portion of Lots 2, 81 9 and 10 of Chase. Hill Residence Tracts, according to the official plat thereof on file in the office of Yakima County, .Washington. said improvement to consist of the installation of the necessary mains, fire. hydrants, valves and other appurtenances for the purpose of supplying water for domestic use, and to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be pre- pared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission, to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of 10 :00 o'clock A.M., on Tuesday, the 3rd day of September, 1946, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing on all matters relating to the said proposed improvement, or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment, therefor; and the City.,Clerk..is. hereby directed, to, give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make.the aforesaid improvement. . The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of acquiring right of way.easements, engineering, surveying advertising, inspection, publication of notices and all other expenses incident thereto shall be borne by and, assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as pro- vided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted.
