The City Commission met in regular.session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioner; Sanford
present on roll call, Clark absent.,
r, Moved. by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday
July 8th and adjourned meeting thereof, be approved:as read: carA ed;.:Mogren and
Sanford voting aye on roll call, Clark absent.
Movad.by Sanford, seconded by.Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City,Clerk..•authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation.Deptartment $1,742.28;
- Cemetery $839:00;'. Street Deptartment-$2,262.25; Water Department.$652.00: carried,
Mogren; arid:,.Sanford'voting aye on roll call, Clark absent.
MovAa by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants in payment thereof on the following funds;
Current Expense $3,090.88; Street $3,988.32; Library $769.20; Cemetery $74.90;
Irrigation $357.40; Water $6,336.55; Gas & Oil $1,136.25, F. R. & P. $5,00 and Library
Gift Fund $3.07: carried, Mogren and Sanford voting aye on roll call.; Clark absent.
Moved by Sanford, seconded by.Mogren that this being the time for receiving bids on the
Stewart Street Sewer district, L. I. D. No. 606, the following bids were received:
State construction Co. $24,175.00; Ford and Walters $24,943.50 and J. M. DeBlasio
$29,106.50; the bid of State Construction, Co. being the lowest and best bid in the sum
of 24;175.00 said contract was awarded to them and the, Mayor and.,.,City Clerk authorized
to execute a contract on behalf of the City of Yakima for the doing of said work upon
receipt of-the proper bond therefor as provided by law: carried, Mogren and Sanford
vot.ingaye on roll call, Clark-absent.
Moved by.;Sanford, seconded by Mo ren that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll-in L.I.D. No. 59., and there being no objections in writing or other -
wige, to said assessment roll, or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance
confirming said assessment roll, and every part thereof be passed as read: carried,
Mogren and Sanford voting aye on roll call, Clark absent.

Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that this being the time for the hearing on fhe
assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 595 and there being no objections in writing or other-
wise to said.assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance
confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as read: carried,
Mogren and Sanford voting aye on roll call, Clark absent.
ORDINANCE NO. B -721, AN-•ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering local Improve
went District No. 595 as created.a.nd established by Ordinance No. B -672 of the
Ordinances of the City of Yakima.
