The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners Sanford and
Clark present on roll call.

ORDINANCE NO. B -7i9, AN ORDINANCE Amending Ordinance No. B -649 entitled: ro AN ORDINANCE
pHviding for the licensing and regulation of certain mechanical devices commonly
known as 'Juke Boxea!, :providing penalties for.the violation hereof and fixing the
effective-date of this ordinance.-" by adding new sections thereto, providing for an
operator's license and a location license and declaring an emergency.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No..B -719 be passed as read: carried

Resolution No. C -692,. A RESOLUTION designating taxi stands.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission that pursuant to
Ordinance No. B -297 as amended the following spaces are hereby set aside and designated
as taxi °.:s:tands..for the various. companies, and-at -.the,:,locations stated�bplow;;;;.

'To- the:,ARROW CAB and YELLOW CAB COMPANY a total of 2 spaces at
16 North First. Street;
To the BAKER CAB COMPANY 1 space at 2 North First.Street and
2 spaces at 8 North First Street;
To the BLUE TOP CAB COMPANY 1 space at 7 North Front Street
and one space at 209 East Chestnut Street;
To the CITY CAB COMPANY 1 space at 212 East Chestnut..Street
and 1 space at 11, -:east chestnut Street; -
To the DELUXE CAB COMPANY 1 space at-1 South 4th Street;
To the G. I. CAB COMPANY 1 space at 107 South First Street;
To the ROYAL CAB COMPANY 2 spaces at 222 Zouth Second Street
To the DIAMOND CAB COMPANY and RADIO CAB COMPANY a total of
1 space at
To the ACE CAB COMPANY 1 space-at
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition to the establishment
of said spaces that each of said Cab.Companies pay the sum of $75.00'for each space so
designated and set'aside to them to cover -the period of one year and to .be due annuall
thereafter on thefirst day of July of each year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that appropriate signs bO designated at
the spaces herein set aside as taxi stands and that the said spaces be used exclusivel
for said taxies to which said space is allotted..
BE IT FURTHER_ RESOLVED that the allocation of space made hereby
shall constitute a license only'and may be revoked at any time by the City Commission
with or without cause.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 11th day cf
July, 1946.
