Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, 'June 24, 1946 and adjourned meeting- thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll -calla Moved by Mogren, seconded by.Clark that the following payrolls be allowed And the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as,follows: Sanitation Department $1,590.70; Street Dept. $1,891.50; Cemetery $768.00; Water Dept. $516.00: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll cal -1. Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that the City Engineer having reported the comple- tion of the improvement in L.I.D. No. 599 by the contractor, said.work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll therefor and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, the 22nd day of July 1.946 at 10 o.'clock A.M.- carried, Mogren, Sanford, and Clark voting aye on roll call. Mt)ved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that this being the.time,..for the hearing on Resolu- tionINo. C -689 providing for the construction of a sewer syctem on Stewart and other streets in the City of Yakima and there being no objections in - writing or othervise to said improvement or any part thereof; it is.ordered.that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passedas read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. a ORDINANCE NO. B. -717, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City -5,bf Yakima, 'Washington, by the construction of pipe sewers; establishing a local improvement district, providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund. Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -717 be passed as read: carried; Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call... Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that the City Clerk is hereby instructed•to give notice to contractors for constructing a sewer on stewart and other streets in the ,City of Yakima; said bids to be received on Monday,.July 15, 1946 at 10 o'clock A.M: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -691, WHEREAS, THE Yity of Yakima is the owner of the following described real property situated .in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: The north $2.6 feet of the south 135.6 feet - of the eaat 25 feet of the west 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the northwest 1/l of the Northeast 1/4, all in Section 25, Township 13 North,, Range 18, E.W.M. by reason of a deed issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent taxes, and WHEREAS, it appears _to better the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to William H. hill, husband of Pauline F. Hill, NOW, THEREFORE,.BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA$ WASHINGTON: That said above described premises be and they are hereby autho ized to be sold to William H. Hill, husband of Pauline F. Hill, for the total sum of Ten and no /100 ($10.00) Dollars and the.Mayor, A. W. Mogren, is hereby authorized to execute a.deed•to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby author- ized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima.
