The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners Sanford and
Clark present on roll call.
MovRA by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular.meeting of Monday,
June 10, 1946 be approved as read.
MavAd by.Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk.authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $2107.00; Cemetery
$92x:.46; Sanitation $1797.29; Water $44.00: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting
aye on roll call. j
Mowed by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following.claims be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to -issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $4,580.04; Street
41,967.70; Library $1,39749• Cemetery'$129.67; L.I.D °s $2,431.45; Irrigation.$270.39;
Water $11,494.99; Gas & Oil .154.80: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye
on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -712, AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. B -297 entitled: FOAN ORDINANC
relating to the licensing for the purpose of regulation and revenue, the carrying of
passiFngers for -hire by certain vehicles.in the City of Yakima, and.to the regulation of
taxicabs, for -hire cars, sight - seeing cars; providing for the inspection and control
thereof and for the licensing and control of drivers thereof, defining offenses, pre- -
s,cribing penalties, and repealing Ordinance No. B -290, and all other,Ordinances in con-
flict herewith, and. declaring an emergency." by amending Section 1 and by adding new
sections thereto to be designated "Section 3 ", "Section 5 -A ", tOSection 5 -B ", "Section
5 -C11, "Section 11 -A" and "Section 11 -B ", and providing penalties for violation hereof.
