Monday, May 20, 1946 be approved as read: carried, Mogren Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that the City.Attorney is.hereby instructed to pre- - pa.re an ordinance raising the salaries of all City employees with certain exceptions,, $20,00 per'month;.said increase to take effect June 1, 1946: carried, Mogren, Sanfolyd and Clark voting aye .on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. 0-687, a.uthorizijg the.State Auditor to'reserve monthly fuel tax allot- ments}and draw warrants upon request of Director. of Highways WHEREAS, under and b•y virtue of the terms.of that certain agree- - ment made and entered into by and between the City of Yakima and the State of.' Washin1gto acting through its De.pa.r.tment of Highways and the Director thereof, under date of Play 27, 1946) the State will act as agent for the City of Yakima in the participation of said City with the Public Roads Administration under the provisions of the Fed.era.l Aid Road Act of 1944, for the construction of First Street from "B" Street to Beech.. Street (F.A.P. No. F- 105 -9) and. Beech Street'to Lenox Avenue (F.A.P. No. U -105 (7) copy Of, which agreement is hereunto attached, now referred to and by such reference incorporat- ed herein and made a. part hereof, nos,, therefore, BE IT H.E EBY RESOLVED that said agreement be and the same is here by ratified and approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Auditor of the State of Washing- ton be and he is hereby.authorized and directed toreserve an amount of Fifty Six Thousand Six Hundred Fight Nine and 48/100 Dollars (6,689:48) from monthly fuel tax allotments, being the amount not in excess of the money reasonably anticipated to- a.c'cru to the City of Yakima in the'Motor Vehicle Fund during the current biennium as the estimated participating,-share and costs of the ,City of Yakima in the above mentioned project, all of which money or various amounts thereof the State Auditor is hereby ai=
