Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, April 22, 1946, be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Gla.rk voting aye on roll call. Moved by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the payrolls for the month .of.April 1946, be allowed and the Cit•y'Clerk authorized' to issue warrants as follows: Various De- iartment $4,366.60; Fire $9,370.00; Police $7,204.50; Health $1,192.50; Engineering $1,406.33; Library $1,462.37; Irrigati_on.$874.76; F. R. &; P. $1,772.30; P. R. &-P. $Iffi5.00; Cemetery ,$200.00; Street "356.66; Water $5,920.90: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting a.ye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that this being. the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -681 providing for the construction of curbs and gutters in L. I. D. No 602, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a. local improvement district be passed as read; carried., Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -700, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima., Washington, by the construction of concrete curbss and gutters; establishing a. local improvement district; providing for the method of payment therefor; and creat- ing a special fund. Moved by Clark, seconded. by Sanford that Ordinance No. B -700 be passed as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moves by Clark, seconded by Sanford. that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -682 providing for the construction of a sewer in L.I.D. No. 603, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part there of; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a. local improvement be passed as read.: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting ;eye on roll call. B -701, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property inthe City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a sewer; est-ablishing a Local Improvement District: providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund. Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice to contractors for bids on the following Ldcal Improvement Districts: L.I.D. No's. 600, 601, 602, and 603; said bids to be received on Monday May 13th, 1946, at 10 o'..clock A.M: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -702, AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. B -326 entitled: "AN ORDINANCE rel2ting to intoxicating liquors, prohibiting the manufacture, sale, and /or other dis- position thereof in the City of Yakima, except in-certain cases; providing penalties fo the violation thereof, repealing Ordinance No. B -67, and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS a Petition has been filed with the City Commission of the City of Yakima, a municipal corporation, praying for the vacation of alley described as follows, to -wit: The alley between Folsom Avenue and Prown Avenue extending west from Custer .Avenue, being more particularly described as follows: The South 20 feet of the North 160 feet of the west 108.3 feet of Lot 54 Ker's Villa. Lots, according to plat thereof on file in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, situated in the City of Yakima, State of Washington NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That said Petition shall be brow -ht on for hearing and determination on Monday, the 20th day of May, 1946, at the hour of 10 :00 o'clock in the forenoon .of said day at the office of the City 6ommiesion of the City of Yakima, at the City Hall in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard and that notice of such hearing be giv.n as provided by law.
