The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners Sanford and
Clark present on roll call..
Moved by Mo ren, seconded by Sanford tip t the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday
April 1, 19+6, be approved as read; carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -696, AN ORDINANCE amending Section 11 (f), Section 11 (m) and Section
35 -1 of Ordinance No. 9-606 entitled: "AN ORDINANCE relating to the operation of the:..wu-.....
Water Department of the City of Yakima.; providing for the management and control...there-
of; providing for rules`regulating and fixing the use and price of water supplied by the .-
City and-connections therewith; amending and rewriting Ordinance A -989 as amended; pro-
viding penalties for the violation thereof; repealing certain ordinances and declaring
an emergency." known as the Water Code, and declaring an emergency.

RESOLUTION NO. C -681, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY'COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA,
WASHINGTON
That. it is its intention to improve Glenn Drive from Summitview
Avenue to West Chestnut Street from Glenn Drive west to the westerly City Limits, by
constructing concrete curbs and gutters, all of said improvement to be constructed in
full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer
and filed with the City Clerk.
The district to be served by and assessed fir the above described
improvement is described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the north line of West Chestnut Street_
200 feet eaat of the east line of Glenn Drive; thence northerly
and parallel with said east !Anc cf UuWmitvi ? *A, Avenue; thence
westerly along Su_mmitview Avenue to a point 200 feet west of the
west line of Glenn Drive; said point being the westerly City
limits; thence southerly parallelwith Glenn Drive and following
the westerly City limits to a point 305.6 feet south of .the south
line of West Chestnut Street; thence easterly and parallel with
said south line to Glenn Drive; thence northerly along Glenn Driv
to the north line of West Chestnut Street; thence easterly along
said north line to the point of beginning.
All persons who may-desire to object to said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a, meeting of the
City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima., Yakima
County, Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., on Monday the 29th day of April,
1946, which time and-place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to
said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of pay-
ment for said improvement; and the City 91erk is hereby directed to give due notice of
said hearing and of the intention to make the.a.foresaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of
acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising publication of
notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed against
all of the property legally and. properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as
above described; and the City Engineer.is hereby directed to submit to the City Commis-
sion at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other
information required by law to be by him submitted.

RESOLUTION NO. C -682 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIM,
WASHINGTON,
That it is its intention to improve Lots 24 to 71, inclusive,
and the south 55 feet of Lot 32 of the Yakima. Acre Tracts, Lot 1 of Blackburn's Half
Acre Tracts, and also Lots 1 to 12, inclusive of South Eighth Avenue Addition, by con-
structing pipe sewers with the necessary wye branches, manholes, flush tanks and water
connections therefor, all of said improvement to be constructed in full accordance with
the. plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the Cit
Clerk.
The district to be served by and assessed for the above described
improvement is described as follows, to -wit:
Lots 24 to 31, inclusive, and the South 55 feet of Lot 32 of
Yakima. Acre Tracts, according to plat thereof recorded in Volume
"A" of Plats, page 117, Records of Yakima. County, Washington.
Lot 1 of Blackburn's Half Acre Tracts, according to Plat thereof
recorded in Volume "D" of Plats, page 14, Records of Yakima
County, Washington.
Lot 1 to 12, inclusive, of South Eighth Avenue Addition, accordin
to plat thereof' recorded in Volume "I" of Plats, Page 41, Records
of Yakima. County, Washington.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement

all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as.provided by law a.ndias

sion at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other
information required by law to be by him submitted.
