The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor.Mogren and Commissioners Sanford and
Clark present on roll,call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
March 25th, 1946 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren;
Sanford and Clark, voting aye on roll call..
Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that this being the time for receiving bids for
paving the- a-1.1e,y, in Block 270 Kers' Addition the following were received: A.Anderson
$2,4.86.17; J. M. DeBlasio $2,017.71; The bi.d of J. M. DeBla.sio being the loOest bid
said contract was awarded to him and the Ma.yor.aftd City Clerk authorized to enter into
a, contract on behalf of the City of Yakima upon the filing of a proper bond therefor:

RESOLUTION NO. C -679, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA.
WASHINGTON
That it is its intention to construct an irrigation system to
serve all of the lots and tracts of land included within the following district:
Beginning at the intersection of Grandview Avenue with SummitvieN.,
Avenue, which point is the Northeast corner of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 22,: Township 13 North, Range 18.E.W.M., thence
southerly along Grandview Avenue a distance of 495 feet to the
South line of the North Half of the South Half of the Northeast
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section 22; thence westerly along said south line to the west linc
of the North east Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the South. —
east Quarter of Section 22; thence northerly along said west line
to Summitview Avenue; thence easterly along Summitview Avenue to
the point of beginning.
Said improvement to consist of the installation of the necessary
laterals, service connections and other appurtenances for the purpose of deliverying
water for irrigation purposes to each lot within the proposed district. All of said
construction shall be in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be pre-
pared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objections, if any, at a meeting of the
City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima., County
of Yakima, Washington, at the hour of 10 :00 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 22nd day of
April, 1946, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters re-
lating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the
method for payment thereof and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of
said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and. expense of said improvement, including the cost of
acquiring right of way, easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publi,ca.tion of
notices, and all other expenses incident thereto shall be borne by and assessed against
all of the .property legally and properly assessable therefor, as provided by law and as
described; and the City 'Engineer is hereby directed to submit m submit to the City -
Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing all of the data and
other information renuired by law to be by him submitted.

RESOLUTION NO. C -680, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA,
WASHINGTON.
That it is its intention to construct an irrigation system to
serve',all of the lots and tracts of land included within the following district:
That part of the East Half of the East Half of the East Half of
the Northwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 13 North, Range 18,
E. W. M., lying between 24th. Avenue South and 2 5th Avenue South
and extending from Nob Hill Boulevard'to the Naches and Cowiche
Ditch; except Lots 25 to 30, inclusive, of the Vincent's Tracts,
an,-unrecorded plat. The boundaries of the proposed district are
as fallows:
Beginning at the intersection of Nob Hill Boulevard with the east
line of 25th Avenue South.; thence northerly along said. east line
to the northwest corner of Lot 12, Block 2 Mayfair Addition;
thence easterly along said north line to the alley between 24th
Avenue South -and 25th Avenue South; thence northerly along said
alley to the Naches and Coti +riche Ditch; thence Easterly along said.
ditch to the west line of 24th Avenue South; thence southerly
along said. west line to Nob Hill Boulevard; thence westerly along
Nob Hill Boulevard to the point of beginning.
