Moved. by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 11th, 1946 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford. and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed and.the Cite Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $5,555.7.5; Street $1,203.71; Library $1,398.71; Cemetery $42.50; L. I. D's $$554.71; Irrigation $172.08; water $3,1.71.77;- Gas & Oil $1,203.22; P. R. & P $159.87: °•carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. MovPa by Clark, seconded -by Sanford that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C- 677.providing for the paving of the alley in Block 270 Ker's Addition and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a. local improvement for said disiric be passed as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -694, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of the alley running east and weFt through Block 270 Kers Addition to North Yakima by paving the same with one course Portland cement concrete six inches in thickness; establishing a local improvement district, providing the method of payment therefor and creading a special fund. Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that Ordinance No. B -694 be passed as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give notice to contractors by publication as required by law for the paving of the alley in Block 270, Ker's Addition; said bids to be received on Monday, April 1, 1946 at 10 o'clock, A.M: ca.rried,.Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
