The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor rogren and Commissioners Sanford
Clark present on roll call.
MovPd..by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
January 14, 1946 be approved as read: carried, Mogre'n, Sanford and Clark yoting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that this being the time for receiving bids for the
construction of a sidewalk on Broadway Ave., L. I.'D. No. 596, the following were-re-,
ceived: J. M. De Blasio $673.44; Melvin Eckstein •$701.50; the bid of J. M. De Blasi'o
in the sum of $673.14 being the lowest and best bid, said contract was awarded to him
and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to enter into a contract.therefor upon filing
the proper bond as provided by law: carried,'Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C- 669,RESOLUTION authorizing execution of a correction deed.
WHEREAS, by deed; dated January 25, 1938, Severt P. Oie, a widower,
conveyed a strip of land 20 feet in width for street purposes to the City of Yakima,
which deed was recorded. November 10, 1939, in.Volume 748 of Deeds, Auditor's File- Nol.
8742235, Records of Yakima bounty;
AN. WHEREAS, it was the intention of the parties 'to -describe in-�-
said deed the east 20 feet of Twenty -fifth Avenue South, as shovn on the plat, Oie's
Nob Hill Addition, recorded in Volume "J" of Plats, page 1, records of Yakima County;
AND WHEREAS, the point of beginning in the description of said
deed was given as 996 feet east of the northwest corner of southeast Quarter of south-
west cqua.rter. -of section 23, Township 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M. , by mutuah m.ista.ke of
said parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission that the

Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute a correction deed in
the form hereto attached.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission this 21st day of January,
1946. -
