Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 7, 1.946.be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. Movel..by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants a,s follo!is: Sanitation Department $1,500.90; Street Depar.tment.$2.,.323.39; Cemetery.$266,40: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on .roll call. Moved by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the foll o *wing; claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense'$4,865.84; Street Depart' ment $1,390.65; Library $873.63; Cemetery $93.60; L.I.D!s $6,545.71; Irrigation $79.07; Water $3,95 .91; Gas and Oil $1,597.17: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Sanford, seconded by Clark that this being the time for receiving bids on gasoline, oil, grease, kerosene, solvent and. , fuel oil for the year 1946, and said bids having been read and. tabulated; it is.ordered that the contract for the above material for the ensuing year be awarded. to the Block Distributing Co. as follows: Gas$.13 and $.1455; Oil 11.4+6; Grease $.09; Diesel Oil 6•.`015; Kerosene $.14; Fuel Oil $.085 and Solvent $.14: carried; Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting a.ye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the bids on the 100 ft Aerial Ladder Truck for the Fire Department are hereby rejected, and the City Clerk instructed to re- -advertise for new bids; said bids to be received on Monday, February 11th, 1946 at 10 o'clock A.M: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clerk voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -683, AN ORDINANCE amdnding Section 2 and 9 of Ordinance No. R -360 en- titled: "AN ORDINANCE regulating and licensing the preparation, marketing, handling and sale of *neat and meat products intended for human consumption and the sholesaling there- of, providing penalties, and declaring an emergency ", as amended and declaring an emergency. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -683 be passed as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford, and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -684, AN ORDINANCE authorizing the sale of the Northwest ouarter of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter and the East 49 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of-the . Northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 13 North, Range 19 E.W.M, except the South 30 feet for;County Road, to K. L. Liston and Eva M. Liston, husband and wife', for. $2,500.00.
