The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and. Commissioners Sanford and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
December. 10tht 1945, and the adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried.,
Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting a.,ye on roll call..
Moved by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $5,216.4 +5; Street
$2625.41; Cemetery Fund $207.60; L.I.D's $4,773.93; Irrigation $164.11; Water. $4,935.4s;
Gas & 011 Fund 3$1.,705.70: carried, Mogren,. Sanford.and Clark voting -aye on roll call.
Moved by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to'issue warrants therefor: Sanitation $1,368.00;'Street $2,052. 2;
Cemetery $234.00: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -666, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That It is its- intention to improve the property on the west side
of Broadway Avenue between Baker Street and Stewart Street, by the construction of a
Portland Cement concrete sidewalk five feet in width, according to the specifications
to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
The district to be served by and assessed for the above described
improvement is described as follows, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 9, inclusive, in Block 16, Boulevard .Second Addition to
North Yakima (now Yakima), according to plat thereof recorded in
Volume "D" of Plate, page 3, Records of Yakima County, Washington
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objections, if any, at a meeting of the
City Commission to be held. at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima
County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 7th day of January
1946, which time and place.a.re hereby 'fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to
said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of pay-
ment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing
and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense in connection with. the constructions of said
improvement, including the engineering, inspection, advertising, publication of notices
and all other expenses incident thereto shall be levied and-assessed against all of the
property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and.ab above des -
cri ed; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or
prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and -other information
required by law to be by,him submitted.

ORDINANCE NO. B -678, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of
assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement
District No. 584, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the
payment of the unpaid portion thereof.
