The City Commission met in regular Ression, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners Sanford and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by'Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
November 19th, 1945 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and lark voting aye
on roll call.
Moved by Sanford, seconded by Mogren that the following claim: be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $l0t;,667.55-- Street
$811.98; Library $1,477.00; Ceme.tery'$298.7o; L.I.D's $236.24; Irrigation 402.44;
Water $5,511.14; F. R. &P.$1,904.11: carried,.Mogren, Sanf- ord-a.nd Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that this being the time for the hearing on
Resolution No. 'C -662 providing for the paving of alleys in Block 230 and 250, and there
:being no objections In writing or otherwise to said improvement'or any part thereof;'it
Is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be passed., carried,
Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.-B-672. AN ORDINANCE :providing for the improvement of the 'alley runni -ng eas !
and-west through Block 230, also the alleys in Block 250', City'of Yakima, by, paving true
same with one course Portland cement concrete six inches in thickness; establishing-4
Local improvement district, providing the method of payment therefor and creating a
special_: fund.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that Ordinance No. B -672 be passed as read:
carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye-,on'roll call.
Moved by Sanford, seconded by Clark =that the' City Clerk is hereby instructed to give;
notice to contractors for paving the alleys in Blocks 230 and 250, L.I.D. No. 595; said
bids to be received on Monday, December 10th 1945 at 10 o'clock;A.M: carried, Mogren,
Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
