The City Commission met.in regular sesAion, Commissioners Sanford and Clark present.on
roll call, Mayor Mogren absent. n
Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday `-
October 22nd and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Sanford and
Clark voting aye on roll call, Mogren absent.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that the City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice to contractors for furnishing materials •cons-is•ti•ng of pipe, fittings, valves,
hydrants and other appurtenances to be used in the improvement of the Municipal Water.
System; said bids to be received on Tuesday, November 13, 1945 at .10 o'clock A. M:
carried, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call, Mogren absent.
.Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that the City Engineer having reported the comple-
tion-of the improvement•in.L.I.n. No. 593 by the contractor,.sa:id work is hereby
accepted and the.City Engineer authorized to prepare an= assessment roll for said,dis-
trict and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give..notice of hearing on -said assess-
ment roll for Monday, November 19th, 1945 at 10 o'clock A.M: - carried, Sanford and
Clark voting aye on roll call, Mogren absent.
Mov -d by Clark, seconded by Sanford that' this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 584 and there being no objections. in writing or otherwise
to said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that the Ordinance confirm-
ing said assessment roll and every part.thereof be passed as read: carried, Sanford
and Clark voting aye on roll call, Mogren absent,
ORDINANCE NO. B =668,- AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improv -
ment District No. 584;.as created and established by Ordinance No•. B -610, of the
ordinances of the City of Yakima.
Moved by Clark, seconded by.Sanford that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, October
31, 1945 at'9 o'clock A. M: carried, Sanford and.Clark voting aye on roll call,'Mogren
absent.

allowed -and the City Clerk authorized' to issue warrants as follows:` "Various Depts.

aye on roll call, Mogren absent.

City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street $1,751.69;Sanitation

ORDINANCE NOe B -669, AN ORDINANCE relating to the support and maintenance of the
Yakima Public Library, providing for the expenditure of money not provided for in the
budget and declaring an-emergency.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that Ordinance No_ B -669 be passed as read:
