Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday September 4, 1945 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. MoveA. by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the following named persons be and they are hereby appointed as members of the Police Department Civil Service Commission; A.C. Cherry, from June 30, 1945 to June 30, 1951; George V. Rankin, to June 307 1947 and J. -P. Kohls from June 30,. 1943 to June 30, 19491 carried, Mogren, Sanford and. Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the following named persons be and they are hereby appointed as members of the Fire Department Civil Service Commission; A. C. Cherry to September 10, 1947; Geo V. Rankin from September 10, 1945 to September 10, 1951, and. J.. P. Kohls from September 10, 1943 to September 10, 1949: carried., Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. 0-659, WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission of the City of Yakima, Rashington, a budget covering the detailed estimate of all expenditure proposed to be made by the City of Yakima, for the ensuing year, and a statement of the proposed. revenue from taxes and other income for the ensuing year, in the manner and form prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the same has been considered by the City Commission in, detail and such revisions and additions made as has been deemed advisable; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY,'THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That said. budget be, and the same - is' hereby accepted and approved as the budget for the City of Yakima for the ensuing year, and the Qity Clerk is hereby directed to give notice that said budget has been completed and :placed on file, and a copy thereof will be furnished any taxpayer who will call at the office of the City Clerk therefor, and that the City Commission of the City. of Yakima will; meet on the first Monday in October 1945, at the hour of 9-o'clock A.M, at the office of the City Commission of said City, for the purpose of fixing the final budget and mak ing the tax levies and notifying any taxpayer that he may appear at -said meeting and be heard for or against any part of said 'budget, and said notice shall be published once each week for two consecutive weeks immediately following the adoption of said prelim- inary budget. day of September ATTEST: PEARL. B -661, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 590, and providing for the method of payment of the.unpa.id portion thereof Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that Ordinance No. B -661 be.passed as read: carried Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -662, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 591, and ,providing for the method of payment of the unpaid portion thereof Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that Ordinance No. B662 be passed as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call.
