Moved by Mogren, seconded by Sanford that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday July 2, 1945, be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Sanford that this being the time for.t.he hearing on Resolution No. C -657, providing for the paving of the alley in-Block 69, City of Yakima, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passed as read: carried, Mogren, Sanford and Clark voting aye on 'roll cal". ^RnINANCE NO. B -652, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of the alley in Block 69', City'of,Yakima,°by paving the same with one course Portland cement concrete six inches in thickness; establishing a local improvement district, providing the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund.- ,%Mo�P.A by Clark, seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -652 be passed as read: carried*, Mogren, Sanford, and Clark voting aye on roll,call.. Mol;o�; by Clark, seconded by Sanford . that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice to contractors by publication as required by law for paving the alley in Block 69, City of Yakima; said bids to.be received on Monday,,Jul,y 23rd, 1945 at 10 o!--lock A. R'SOLTi;TTON NO. r_658, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF.YAKIMA, _'-WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to construct an irrigations system to ;serve all of the lots and tracts of land included within the following district: Lots 1 to 25, inclusive, of Lawson's Addition; according to plat thereof recorded in Volume "I" of Plats; Page 4, .Records of Yakima County, Washington. Said improvement to consist of the installation of thernecessary laterals, service connections and other appurtenances for the purpose of delivering water for irrigation purposes to each lot within the proposed district.. All: of said construction shall be in full accordance with the.plans and specifications to be pre- pared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objections, if any, at a meet- ing of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City-Hall in the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, Wa.shington...at the hour of 10 :00 o'clock-A. M., on Monday, the 30th day of July, 1 945, .which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for de- termining the method for payment thereof and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention'to_ make the aforesaid improvement. The cost.and expense of said improvement, including the cost of acquiring right of way, easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of notices, and all other expenses incident thereto shall be borne by and assessed agains all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor,.-as provided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Oommiss.ion at or prior to the -;date fixed herein for said hearing all of the data and other information required by law to­be by him submitted.
