Street 81,682.48; Water $2,$58.36 , Mnved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that this being the time for receiving bids in L.T.D. No. 5920 for the construction of curbs and gutters, and the bid of J. M. De Blasio, in the sum of 0861.56- being the only one received, it is ordered that action on awarding the contract be deferred until a later date: carried, Mogren and-Clark voting aye on roll call. The district to be served by and assessed for the above described improvement is described as follows: Lots 1 to 24, inclusive, in Block 69, City of Yakima, Washington. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections, if any, at.a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in.the 01.ty of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington at the hour of ten-o'clock on . Monday, the 9th day of July.,. 1945 which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing.of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor;. and the City. Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. `'. - The cost and expense in connection with the construction of said improvement, including the engineering, inspection, advertising publication of notices, and all othere expenses incident thereto shall be levied and assessed against all of the property legally and properly,assessable therefor, as'provided by .law, and as above described; arid the City Engineer .is hereby directed to submit to .the City Commission at or - ,prior to the date fixed herein for . said hearing,. all ''of the data and other .in- formation required bylaw to be.by him submitted. C -657, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE -C`ITY OF YAKIMA: That It' is its intention to improve the alley in.Block 69, City of Yakima by paving the same with one course Portland cement concrete six (6) inches thick, according to the specifications.to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
